Tight and twisty racing set under the shadow of the prison, this is the Jail Trail BREAKOUT!
RACE DESCRIPTION: This course is full of twisty and turny single track. Four miles within a large pine forest with numerous passing lanes set on the trouble track ski trails and the occasional view of the prison.
TRAIL ADDRESS/DIRECTIONS: Jail Trail Race Course Infield will be at the intersection of Minnesota Blvd (Hwy 301) and 15th Ave SE in St. Cloud, MN. Look for the Granite (Graystone) Prison Walls. From Hwy 301, turn onto 15th Ave SE which is next to the Prison. Drive up the hill and parking will be on your right-hand side before the stop sign on 15th Avenue.
PARKING: Parking is limited in the infield and is on a first come, first serve basis. Parking is also available along the streets surrounding the venue. Once the race starts, cars parked in the infield will not be able to leave. ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING AT ST BENEDICT'S or at the PRISON..
RACE DAY SUPPORT: Mechanics from Penn Cycle and Rydjor Bike Shop will be on hand Sunday using Park Tool products to provide last minute adjustments and repairs.
NOTES:
- A concession stand will be available on site.
- No gasoline generators inside the team pit area, please, and no open fires.
- No dogs off leash, please.
- Be considerate of our venue and use the trash receptacles.
Team Check-In: Teams must check in at Registration BEFORE occupying a Pit Zone. Starting at 7:00AM, reserve your tent spaces and review your team list. Be sure to alert Registration of any racers who are not participating in this race.
Real-time results: Download the app ‘ITS YOUR RACE’ to your phone, then find ‘Minnesota MTB'. Select a race category. More details are available on http://www.itsyourrace.com. Remember that these are timing results only. Penalties, scoring rules, and wave starts will not be reflected.
